Hello Everyone! I just wanted to give you all some quick updates (:
First off, I will be having up some new reviews very soon on the following games; Prince Love, Ninja love, Road to Emerald Dream and Shuffle!
If there are any games you'd like me to review then please comment here or send me a message about it on formspring! Just keep in mind my computer is a mac so I can't play ALL the dating sims out there. ><

If you'd like for me to do any more walkthroughs on certain characters then please tell me who or what game! = D I am very happy to make walkthroughs, though they take quite sometime so i'd rather just know what you guys actually want to see rather than making some random walkthroughs that i'm not sure if you'll even enjoy.. ^^; Lazy, I know.

Also, As I said on my Yo-Jin-Bo download code post, I am thinking of having some giveaways on some otome games, but i'm not exactly sure how i'd go about this or what games people would be interested in winning. xD; So if any of you have suggestions on how I could go about the giveaways then please talk to me about it~

Third, I was wondering if any of you would like to be an author of the blog? I am pretty busy, but not only that I just think it'd be fun to have another author.
If you were to get author status you would help me with walkthroughs, getting answers and such because that really can be hard to do if you're just one person e__e; You would also get to do some reviews of course, because what would the fun be of being an author on a review site without doing that? But yes! I mean you could go back and do your own review of Yo-Jin-Bo if you wanted to give everyone a different taste/side of what someone else thinks, but I would like to keep doing a repeat review/same reviews to a low. So of course we shall be keeping in contact for all matters, I would appreciate if whoever wants this had Skype or Twitter so we could keep in contact easily about walkthroughs, reviews and other things this page could be used for. So yes! If anyone else wants to help run this blog then please just comment, message me on formspring or add me on skype ( aniloveskawa )
And we can talk about it! I'm not going to do a 'first come first serve' type of thing because I really want to make sure you'll actually do stuff and not leave this blog for the dead like I sometimes do because of my busy schedule and unability to always have internet.

So I am looking for one author to help with walkthroughs and reviews and another person who is full of information! So awhile back someone commented on one of my reviews and knew every character in Pirates in Love's Japanese names and such and it got me thinking.. I think it'd be wonderful to have someone else on this sites team that was filled with a lot of information about things like; English patches, New English Releases and information on that and just such things!

Shall We Date? Actor Love Review!

Hello Everyone! It is that time again, time for yet another review. This time i will be reviewing yet another one of the beautiful games in the Shall We Date series, which has still proven to be my favorite otome series out there that i have played! In shall we date? Actor love , you get transferred to the White Magnolia Opera Academy school which is home to many of your favorite actors. As you pass through the gates of the school, you realize that you're surrounded by guys and that it still is mostly an all male population. Thankfully, you're able to meet Mikan, who is also a girl at the academy. As each of the classes are getting prepared for the year end performance, Mikan asks you if you have anyone you want to perform with and then you get to choose which is who you end up romancing xD

I REALLY loved this game, I wasn't too interested at first because of the art.. i don't know why but the art just didn't look nice and i always like the guy with glasses, but Chigusa's hairstyle bugged me. *shot* Uhum so anyways, I ended up getting it because in some ways it reminded me of La Corda D'oro and i was like "wouldn't hurt to try" and i really did end up liking it! I am glad that the Shall We Date series covered a game that was in a school type scenario. ^^ So, despite the fact that i detested his hairstyle i romanced Chigusa first! [ Gosh i'm just way to shallow.. ] This game.. I could honestly read the guys.. 'type' if you may like a book and took away from the game a little, I guess it was because of the fact that they all reminded me of characters from animes and i started to realize which answers they would probably like most.. Ha ha, but yes I did enjoy Chigusa's route quite a lot and by the end I realized the game was worthwhile! Instead of going on to romance one of the other free men I really liked Sumire and decided that it was time to buy him! T Sumire is well.. He is a gentleman and treats you like a lady. [ ~~Truly i was upset because i thought he was a player~~ ] He just wants to pursue his own dream not that set out by his parents.. Alright so, once i got over my sorrows about him not being a player I liked his character and thought that he was very very sweet! C: I would recommend anyone to romance him! xD

This game is obviously more peaceful than other Shall We Dates [ I haven't played the marriage one so that isn't included in this XD ] which, now i can understand why people dislike this one compared to the other shall we date games.. Though i liked it and was finally glad they came out with it, this game lost its appeal QUICKLY yes i love dating all the guys and they made me squeal and i absolutely loved Suo's CGS, but i felt the spark that Ninja love and Heian love had was well.. missing from this one. You can't do to much with a school game which is why i try to give it the benefit of the doubt after Chigusa's route and ended up playing all the guys, but still.. After Sumire came Suo.. and that's when i ended up really liking the game which is why i'm giving it a 8 out of 10!! ^^

Ha ha, but as I usually do on my reviews here is my rating of the guys!

So! Why i rate Suo first? Not only where his CG'S BY FAR the best [ honestly i thought Chigusa's CG's failed and could of used a lot of work ] I loved his personality to be honest! Ha ha he is so kind hearted and it was just amazingly sweet!! >//< There are some times when he seems so uncaring, but other times he'll do something different from what you'd expect. I just loved him over all more so and was quite surprised at my love for him *AA* <3

Ha ha well there you have it! My Review on Shall We Date? Actor love! I apologize it's not as good as my Heian love review, but i didn't like this game as much and i had troubles really getting into a review about it ; n ;

Anyways thank you for taking your time to read it anyways! Uhm, I would suggest it after playing Prince love, Ninja love and Heian love! Honestly i think you should spend your money on those instead..

Magical Diary Review!

Hello everyone!

Well its time for yet another review.. Whoo! [: Today it shall be on Magical Diary Horse hall.

A wonderful otome game for pc!

The game is $24 i believe, though if you play the demo and upload your character to the guide book then post it somewhere you can get a 30% off code.

In this game your character [ which you can fully customize ] has been invited to attend a school of magic. Of course like any school you can make friends and learn spells! C: There are even exams you must take which lead you to dungeons.. When i first played the game's demo i didn't realize it would have such a thing, but honestly i thought that made it more fun. Seeing as most otome games are just straight up novel/reading and all you do it click through. I liked this since you had to use your spells to help out. There is more to this game than just the otome aspect though, that is obviously the biggest aspect..

On my first play through i decided to go for Damien.

He was obviously the womanizer and of course i always have to go for that type first, Haha.

Throughout his route.. Or any route really you have MANY chances to cheat, break it off, stand them up, ext.

I liked this because honestly on most otome games you choose a guy and theres no way to get off there path. Magical diary is very open about how it can be done and I liked that. This game has endless amounts of choices! I've already played it 8 times and there are still thing's im finding out about that i didn't realize before.

Now back to Damien. [ This may contain some spoilers! ]

Through out Damien's route he makes himself out to be the helpless one who's always been bullied just because he's a demon. Now, I will be honest he had me completely fooled as well as my character.

When he asks you to meet him in the gym and says he's dying i offered up my soul within seconds.. I never thought that he was using you all along and what.. To become a prince? Yeah, I was ticked, but it was a nice touch and really added some drama to it all! You then are given a choice.. You can say you still love him , you can be filled with hate or stay silent.. I chose the love option.. And i believe thats the only way to further his romance though i am not sure.

Yeah, I started to get worried that i would never see him again and i'd somehow messed up on the romance... But thats where I was wrong.

Now i think i've already spoiled enough about his route.. All i'll say is i think they did a really nice job on Damien's route, It was romantic and dramatic and still my favorite route in the game.

The only thing so far i have found that i dislike is the lack of CGS. The game has only one cg [ other than the title screen photo ] which is when you kiss whoever your dating and its the same for every romance.. Other than that the game is quite wonderful!

I also loved how other than the main romances there are many side paths so you don't have to end up alone.

Such as Pastel. (:

All in all i'd rate the romances in such a way...

1. Damien

2. Grabiner

3. Ellen

4. Donald

5. Virginia

And of course how could we forget about the side romances?

I have only found out about Pastel and so far it looks as the only thing you do is kiss her towards the end of the school year though it makes reference in the epilogue that you all hooked up over the summer.

I know there are a few other side romances, but i have yet to find them.

Now onto the subject on the dungeons!

So in this game as i said earlier you not only have romances, but since its a school your studying magic.. Which does indeed help you in the dungeons! Every so often you have exams and they are in dungeons which you are teleported to. Depending on what your magic skill is you can complete them in various ways! I always found the easiest way to complete them was Green, Blue and Red magic though i know that you can complete the dungeons in other ways.

I honestly found the dungeons really fun! Especially the one where you had to race the other student.

These are sort of like puzzles and track scent can come in handy on a few!

All in all this game has a lot of great features and is very fun and entertaining and i've yet to get bored of it!

I would give it a 7 out of 10! [:

Recently i've been playing Ninja love nonstop. xD Im totally obsessed.. I didn't realize the creators of Heian love had another game and my god im in love with it! C: <3 My favorite guy so far is Munenori and i realized there wasn't a walkthrough for him.. So after 4 days of writing down his answers and what not i finally bring you... Munenori's walkthrough!! : D

Pirates in love: Review

Pirates in love: Review.

Hello Everyone!! So yesterday i was looking through the growing list of english visual novel games and i came across this one! I was excited to know that the iphone had yet another Otome game!

I jumped at the chance and downloaded it.. I was shocked to see it was free so i automatically thought it wasn't going to be that great of a game. Though, It isn't actually free. Just the prologue that explains how you get on the ship.. I like that you can play the prologue separately from the routes.. It makes it nicer if your planning on playing it over again and again so you don't have to go through the prologue every time.

To play a mans route its 4$ per guy. Each guy has two different endings.. The Happy and Super Happy ending.

I do think that its a little overpriced.. 4$ per guy? I mean seriously? I got a full pack of guys on Heian love for around that price.

I do think that the game should just make it around.. lets say 6-10$ for the game and just not make you pay per guy.

So, since i just got the game yesterday i've only played through one guys route so far.. I chose Eduardo
something about him during the prologue really stood out to me. He looks way sexier than the others especially because of what he's wearing. Once again, it seems the guy i chose was the hard to approach type. So.. His playthrough was wonderful!! 16 chapters long? Heck yes!! The chapters were pretty lengthy as well.. I greatly enjoyed the fact it had a save option. Unlike Heian love which had no way to save your progress.. This way it makes it easier if you wanted to play two routes at once or something of the sort.. Also.. This game had RIVALS. Yes, It wasn't straight out "You will end up with him!!" It had a few other men that tried to sweep you off your feet and i LOVED that! Seeing Eduardo jealous was pretty nice as well.. XD This game had nice background music to~

So.. I felt especially close to this game since it was longer routes.. I really started to feel connected to the characters and i just became in love with the story...

Afterawhile once you start to realize your feelings for Eduardo it becomes much more dramatic. Im not sure what the age difference is but everyone on the ship calls you a kid so im assuming your character is supposed to be around 14-16 and they are in there Late twenties early thirties though im not sure... That's just my guess. Thomas looks younger than the rest of them though.

Eduardo starts to think of you as a little sister as he says.. And of course i made my character dislike the fact he thought of her this way since she was in love with him.

After some eavesdropping you find out that really isn't the case and that's just what he was saying that in front of you.

At the end of the game i found it very sweet~! I just got his happy ending though so im going to go back around and try for his super happy ending to see how much more 'amazing' it is.

One thing i will say.. That im not sure if i should love or hate.. Is this game has two endings.. Happy and Super happy. I mean, im not sure if its just the fact i have a sadistic mind or what but i felt like it should have a unhappy ending as well.. I mean, it just seems like the sort of game that should especially have unhappy endings since its pirates and all.. Though im not going to complain to much over no unhappy endings! That's a good thing.. Right? XD

This game instead of having two choices everytime always had three choices you can choose from! I loved this.. It makes it harder to realize what choices will lead you to which ending and you really just have to choose from what you would choose.

All in all i rate this game 9-10

I would rate it ten though i just think the mens routes are a little overpriced.. And there were a few freezing issues i had with the game. I think a quick update would fix that though.

I really enjoyed the game and suggest it to you all!! (:

Yo-Jin-Bo The Bodyguards: Review.

Hello Everyone! Time for another review! After a long time i am very glad to finally be doing another review!! ^^

This review is going to be on Yo-Jin-Bo The Bodyguards.. My absolute favorite otome video game at the moment!!

I found out about this game from: http://www.otomegames.com/ awhile back when i first saw it i didn't actually want it and it didn't look to interesting.. I finally brought myself to click on the link and i read all about the game and i immediately fell in love with the art and story.

I've always been a sucker for otome games that take place in Feudal Japan so this game was perfect for me. I immediately ordered the game from J-Box.. A few weeks ( Yes.. Weeks... ) Later they finally sent me my confirmation code to download the game.. I downloaded it and began to play.

Now, One of the many things i love about this game is the fact that it is fully voice acted. Though the text is in English the voice acting is in Japanese so if you aren't one for listening to Japanese words while reading then i don't suggest this to you. ( Though you could just turn off the voice effects ) I thought the voicing adding much emotion and effect to the gameplay. Plus most of them had incredibly sexy voices which really made it nice.

On my first playthrough i wasn't exactly sure who to choose.. For the first three or four chapters you don't get to say anything or pick anything ( Except for at the very beginning when the game first begins ) and you are going through Hatsuhime's story. Now, After a few times playing through it over and over these chapters do get a little repetitive, but i still thought it was a very nice touch that they had such a thing. It really made you get in touch with Hatsuhime more and made you feel like you were in the story itself to a whole knew degree.

Finally when the characters were being introduced i was set in stone on going with Bo. At first i thought that Yo, Jin and Bo were the only three that you were able to romance.. Boy was i wrong. There are 6 choices. Each have a happy and unhappy ending. The second i saw Ittosai i knew he was the one i was going to end up romancing.

My obsession with men with glasses came in here.. Seriously? A samurai with glasses? Sign me up!

He was a intimidating character to approach and a even harder shell to crack which intrigued me. Throughout Ittosai's romance i felt closer and closer to him becoming attached to the character and you tried to get him to open up to you and let you in.. Once it is just Mon Mon and Ittosai with you and you are at camp is when it really kicked in for me. Though with a character like Ittosai i guess i could see some sort of background like that coming.

My first time playing i got Ittosai's game over ending... *Shot* Luckily since im one of those save fanatics i just had to go back a little ways.. The fact this game has a game over ending as well.. Really just made me happy. xD Though its annoying as crap if you haven't saved i still thought it was awesome. Really stressing you out when you make choices to make sure you don't pick the wrong choice which could lead to your death.. When i skipped back and played through from the last place i saved.. I got his bad ending. I really have bad luck, Huh? I started sobbing at that ending. It was such a long game and touching game that you get so attached to it.. Getting a bad ending really does hit your heart.. After my tears finally stopped falling i looked up a walkthrough for the game. [ http://www.gamefaqs.com/pc/941867-yo-jin-bo-the-bodyguards/faqs/61328 ] And then went back through working for Ittosai again.. xD This time perfecting it and getting his happy ending.. I've never felt so happy before.. His ending... Just.. Uwhuuu.. Really makes you wish guys like that were real.

I think went to bed seeing as i'd stayed up till 4 am playing the game and i thought it was finally time for some well earned rest.. Anyways.. Next up on my list of people was Bo.. Since i had planned on romancing him the first time i decided i would try romancing him.

Well.. bo was a interesting fellow. He seemed like a womanizer and well he really was.. But you learn throughout his playthrough its just a facade and that he really loves science and such.. I mean, This killed it for me.. I felt like just another one of his obsession ladies who was like "Urgh.. Really?" When he said this. I mean.. Its just.. A few things in the game that did bug me was how it would say random things about movies and what not when it was in.. FEUDAL JAPAN. I can understand Sayori saying something about it since she's from the future, but the others..? No.. They shouldn't be saying anything like that.. Anyways.. I finished Bo's romance at he couldn't top Ittosai for me.. No one really can. Towards the end of his romance.. He did grow on me.. And after playing through both of his ends i really did begin to like him as a character and decided the whole nerd thing wasn't that bad. I haven't nothing against nerds it just bugged me since.. AGAIN this is Feudal Japan << I did love his happy ending.. At first i thought there was a glitch and that i'd gotten his unhappy again.. I then became full of joy when Bo went back to his house and there Sayori was. I started flipping out of happiness.. I guess that's the main way that he grew on me was seeing that.. xD
So, I went through man after man.. I still haven't gotten around to Mon Mon to be honest.. I just... Don't know why but he doesn't seem like the sort that should be.. A romance. xD Im not sure maybe i'll do that today and just see what he's like..

My top favorites were Ittosai, Yo and Muneshige.

Yo's happy ending was really sweet to me~! I found it really epic how sayori snuck away from the castle to be with Yo. :'D

Muneshige along with Jin are the two that i thought were like the main romances of the game.. If this was an anime i felt those would be the two that it would be down two for her to end up with. And well.. I just thought Muneshige was wonderful once you actually romanced him and saw there was more two him than what met the eye.

So... out of all the guys I rate them...

1. Ittosai

2. Yo

3. Muneshinge

4. Bo

5. Jin

6. Mon mon.

I rate Mon Mon 6th because i haven't even romanced him yet and i doubt i will even enjoy the romance.. Unless they have something pretty epic with his romance..

I give the game a 10-10.. Yess.. Im sure many people would rate it lower because of some translation problems or whatever.. But im just one of those obsessive fans over this game and i can't think of things that i find flaw other than the whole Feudal Japan rant i had.. xD Seriously though its a great game <3

So basically the last time i posted in the vlog or even checked it was in March.. So yes! Its been quite some time. And i can tell the blog is basically dead which i apologize for if there is anyone out there that even reads this vlog or has someone randomly stumbled upon it.

So, This summer has been a busy one for me! But i have found the time to play quite a few more otome video games which i will be doing reviews on very soon!

In other news.. A few of you commented on my Heian love review saying you couldn't get the happiest endings. Well, I am taking the effort to try and come up with a walkthrough guide so you can get all the sexy pictures from the happiest endings!

Just earlier today i was finally able to get Mikages.. Quite a lovely photo and the ending is very sweet! (:

So far i have the guides made out for Mikage and Kuze's happiest endings. I'll be working to get the rest of them done here in the next few days then i'll post the walkthrough guide on here! So i hope you all will enjoy that.

In other news.. Has anyone heard of Yo-Jin-Bo the bodyguards? Well.. That has been one of my obsessions over the summer [ That and Catherine ]
Its a splendid Otome game and im pretty excited to be doing a review about it!!

Shall we date? Heian Love- Review.

Ah hello everyone time for another review! ^_^

This review shall be on Shall we date? Heian love. One of my absolute favorite otome video games! ^_^

I found out about this game from http://www.otomegames.com/ a great website to find out about english otome video games. ^^ I found it on my iphone and had to get it. It was 4 dollars plus for the extra 3 boys [ Hisame, Izo and Hinata ] It was 5 more dollars. And may i say best 9 dollars of my life! I think this is truly an amazing otome video game. I can tell its probably a port off of a computer game which is in Japanese which i would also love to have but it is amazing especially for a itouch app!

My first playthrough i choice Mikage Abe because he reminds me of Sesshomaru quite a bit. And i just love men with hair like that, Another weird fetish of mine. But i loved how he joked around with you.. He made me feel special and i got quite flustered inside. One thing i have noticed is that Lady Ibara seems to be either your competition in love on each play through or she is somehow there being the rude girl she is. If you decide to go with Mikage it would seem that she is in love with him as well and goodness i haven't gotten the unhappy ending with Mikage yet but when i get it i am horrified by the idea but im sure it will end up in him being with Ibara. There are way to many guys in this game for me to be able to list them all and half the time i played this game around 4am so i wouldn't even be able to remember the order i played them in. But my top three favorite guys were Sakuhito, Mikage and Masakuni. [ Oh yes my uncle made the top three xD ] I loved them all for different reasons. I enjoyed Sakuhito's looks for he reminds me of someone quite a bit personality wise as well. I was crushed when i played through his unhappy ending for the CG. I started crying though i seem to do that over every unhappy ending. I loved Mikage for the fact he reminds me of Sesshomaru plus i just adore how he looks and how he comes across i just.. well for some reason that interested me and i just knew there had to be a reason for it, I have always loved the fact he possessed some sort of "Magic" about him. When i first fell for him.. if you dont count when i first saw him was probably when he saved you from the demon. I was crushed when i found out the first time he kissed you it wasn't a real kiss but he did it to transfer energy into you.. When he said he was going to send the love poem to Lady Ibara i honestly thought i was going to cry.. I really got into Mikage's playthroughs. At first when i was going to romance Masakuni i was hesitant since he was my uncle.. But after i went through his playthrough just as my in game character had i started to forget he was my uncle and i just.. well loved him. His story was pretty sad and i was kind of shocked when i found out that he wrote the poem to my dead aunt... I don't know but that made me kind of mad at him, I truly thought him of all people would have actually written the poem to me, But he really just couldn't get over her could he? I am still trying to unlock his happiest ending but his happier and happy endings were truly wonderful<3 His... Sad ending made me start crying, When i saw his dead body.. I dropped my iphone and tears started pouring out of my eyes, this game has truly touched places in my heart. T__T

So thats a bit on each of my favorite guys.

I also LOVE Hisami. ^w^ He was my favorite out of the pack of three guys you could buy.

If your wondering why Izo was last on my list is because while in the end he may grow to love you but i felt as if something was missing from his routes. Usually i love the whole forbidden love assassin thing but something about him and the whole thing made me dislike it. I think he was a plain boring character even after you learned his secret. Whatever that's just my opinion ^_^

In all the game was amazing, Truly i think its better than some otome video games out there that are 20 bucks or more for the computer. The only complaints i have which are very minor are that it has no background music, I just pulled up some music by Rin' on my computer for i felt that it fit the game but i still feel it wouldn't of been to hard to add some background music. And second the mail system, I wish you could make it so you couldn't get a message twice or that it had a delete option on messages. Because anytime im replaying a route i get so much repeat mail.
I give the game a 9-10

I truly loved it and it was a great game i still haven't beaten all the endings! ^_^

Ah hello everyone! ^_^ Ani here with a review on the free english otome video game, Alistair +++.

Well this was the first ever otome video game i played so i was pretty happy when my friend Vivi-Chan introduced this game to me. Of course i loved how it started out, though at first i thought you were supposed to fight the demons and such and i didn't realize it wasn't a game with fighting in it. xD I was really excited to find out that the heroine played video games though that kind of made my life.. Then three smoking hot guys that also play video games? Could the world in this game be any better? Me and my glasses fetish decided to go with Travis first. He seemed like a jerk at first glance but i was quite determined! After my first playthrough i didn't unlock the special Travis ending but i did guess that Derek was Alistair. I was frustrated and at first didn't want to play the game again but i found a Walkthrough on the game. Thus i started to read up everything i could then started to play again, Of course being lazy i went with a walkthrough instead of trying on my own. Though it was quite a helpful walkthrough. After getting Travis's special ending i was giddy inside and then decided i would go with all the other guys to see what there endings were like. I went with Shiro next because of his adorable personality. I was actually quite shocked when i went to his house and he seemed to have some anger problems, I thought that later on in his playthrough that it would cause some problems but i never really saw that anger again except for when he saw me digging through his trash can. To be honest i thought it was something that was an un needed add since it didn't go anywhere and his nice boy act wasn't really an act after all like i thought it was leading up to be. That is just my opinion and im sure others think of that differently but still. He was such a cute and adorable person ^_^ And last but not least Derek. I have to admit he was my least favorite of the three, he was the cool popular boy on the basketball team that all the girls fawned over and usually when im watching an anime or something of the sort i always fall for the guys like that. But Derek just didn't appeal to me.. I still romanced him for the CG'S though. I did find many of the things with Derek to be.. quite cute. And i was shocked by some of the things i found out about him. He did start to grow on me when i found out about his grades but still.

For me.

And overall i would give the game a 6-10 stars. Its a great game for being free and i love the art but i wish there were more endings you could unlock, Just a happy and unhappy ending for each guy would be enough to make me happy though seeing as its free i am not going to hold that against them to much.
